The tremendously popular and affordable dim sum restaurant that first opened in Mong Kok, then spawned a second branch in Sham Shui Po, finally opened last week under the IFC mall in Central.
We love that we can now get the excellent, addictive dim sum on both sides of Victoria Harbour.
Opened by a former Lung King Heen chef known as Pui Gor, Tim Ho Wan was an immediate hit. The high quality dishes were a steal, averaging HK$50 per person for a meal.
By 2009, the dim sum joint was crowned with a Michelin star, making it the cheapest Michelin-starred restaurant in the city.
