Florida mùa đông ấm áp nên nhiều người Việt Nam đến đây sanh sống lập nghiệp, “xin chọn nơi này làm quê hương". Hiện có 40,000 người Việt sanh sống ở tiểu bang này.
Orlando là một thành phố lớn, nhiều công viên giải trí vui nhất vùng Florida nắng ấm này. Với hơn 200,000 dân, Orlando mỗi năm thu hút hơn 54 triệu du khách, hơn 10 lần số du khách tham quan nước Việt Nam. Trong nhiều entry trước chúng tôi đã giới thiệu thành phố này, những thú vui, những theme park khác nhau như Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studio, Epcot và Sea World.
Hôm nay mời các bạn cùng chúng tôi tham quan Animal Kingdom của Disney, là một công viên giải trí lớn nhất thế giới, rộng hơn 500 acres. Số du khách đến công viên này mỗi năm lên tới 9,490,000 người, gần 3 lần số du khách đến Việt Nam. Đây là công viên giải trí với số du khách tham quan đứng hàng thứ năm ở Mỹ, và hạng 8 trên thế giới.
Park lớn quá, hai vợ chồng tôi đi cả ngày chưa xem hết được các show biểu diễn trong Park, đại khái đã xem show “The Lion King” rất hay và vĩ đại, và show “Finding Nemo, the musical” là một show độc đáo, ca nhạc vũ kịch với đề tài nổi tiếng con cá con mang tên Nemo, và tình cha con. Chúng tôi đã tham quan khu Oasis, Asia, Dinoland và đặc biệt khu Phi Châu, với nhiều thú vật như voi, sư tử, rhinoceros, cá sấu v..v...

“Disney's Animal Kingdom is a theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort. The fourth park built at the resort, it opened on April 22, 1998, and it is the largest single Disney theme park in the world, covering more than 500 acres (2 km²). It is also the first Disney theme park to be themed entirely around animal conservation, a philosophy once pioneered by Walt Disney himself. Disney's Animal Kingdom is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, meaning they have met and exceeded the standards in Education, Conservation and Research.
Shortly after the park opened, Disney advertised the park using the fictional word "nahtazu". Pronounced "not a zoo," the word emphasized that the park was more than animal displays found in a typical city zoo. Disney stopped using the phrase in January of 2006.
In 2007, the park hosted approximately 9.49 million guests, ranking it the fifth-most visited amusement park in the United States and eight-most visited in the world…
Oasis
Upon entering the park, guests must walk through this area to get into any of the other lands in the park. The Oasis consists of different paths leading to Discovery Island which walk guests past animal habitats such as muntjac, cavy, spoonbills, ducks, fish, turtles, wallabies, giant anteaters, babirusa, Hyacinth Macaws, and others. A Rainforest Cafe is also located at the entrance of the Oasis.
Discovery Island
The main land in the park (previously known as Safari Village), Discovery Island is the center island in the park and has paths to all six of the other lands. It is also the home of The Tree of Life. According to "The Imagineering Field Guide to the Animal Kingdom," each of the restaurants and shops is themed around a certain group of animals (i.e. nocturnal animals, animals with spots, etc.)
Here you'll see kangaroos, flamingos, axis deer, West African crowned cranes, vultures, porcupines, lemurs, macaws, ducks, Galapagos tortoise, small-clawed otters, saddlebill storks, and more.
•It's Tough to be a Bug - At the roots of The Tree of Life, Flik from A Bug's Life shows a 3-D Film about bugs and their daily lives.
Camp Minnie-Mickey
This land is the home of one show and four character greeting spots where guests can meet characters such as Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and others.
